If students are new to creating VFTs, start your project with the prerequisite lessons. After students build their VFTs, use the extension lessons to support feedback and iteration.

VFT Creation Prerequisite

Prerequisite 2: Learn Virtual Field Trip Technology

After students have completed Prerequisite Lesson 1: Design Thinking with VFTs, they gain hands-on experience using Virtual Field Trip technology by creating a practice VFT of their classroom in the ThingLink platform. 

 

This lesson is designed to take 50 minutes of instructional time.
